A Little Beauty you have to Feel

"This is not the time to wonder, and this is not the time to cry, this is just the time to feel."

There are so many wonders here in our own backyards. We just have to take the time to breath them in and let them show us just how magical they are. Just take a walk and look around you. This whole world is mesmerizing and it shows its wonders to us. Happy Holidays and I hope you all are ready for 2012.

Small Story

Walking down the road he found the world to be dull and dark. As if it was stuck in black and white with no passion. Nothing valuable. His shoes hit the snow covered cement and he put his hands in his pockets staring at the road. What was so special about the holidays? It was cold, there was so much snow, he hadn't seen his friends, his family was arguing. It wasn't exactly good for the holiday spirit. Sighing he watched his breath fog in front of him before he looked up seeing someone along the way. She was taking a picture of the towns Christmas Tree. From her back he didn't know her. She seemed to hear him approaching because she turned around. He gave her a bored expression. She was locked in his world of black and white, bland and uninteresting. She tilted her head and he met her eyes. "What're you doing?" He asked and she smiled at him. "I'm taking pictures of the wonders." She replied and he looked at her with a frown on his face. "Wonders. . . Ha." He said and she smiled as he reached her she grabbed his arm and showed him her camera. "You have to take the time to see them. You have to be willing to open your eyes to what the world has to offer. It may be dark now, but the sun will always come up." She said handing him the camera and he looked at her. How stupid. She smiled before she turned and walked away. He went back home and into his room and fell onto his bed. Out of boredom he decided to look at the pictures. As he looked at them he smiled finding them to be rather beautiful. The colors so vivid and alive. It sent a warmth swelling through him. He uploaded the pictures to his computer and looked out of his window at the snow falling. Maybe it wasn't so bad after all.
